Here are families to choose from: 29. A man with only one arm, and with a crippled hand at that, collects papers and junk to earn a living for his family. He works hard against this terrific handicap, but can’t get ahead. There arc twin girls, 13, who need dresses, and a boy 'B, who loves mechanical toys. The Family Welfare Society says this family can use almost any supplies that may be given them, of food or clothing. 30. Three boys, aged 7, 10, and 11, were left when their father died recently, and the mother has only p. small amount of insurance. Out with the old, in with the new. The old brick i*esldence at 447 N. Meridian St. soon will be torn down to make way for the Indiana World War Memorial. For sixtyfive years it stood on the southeast corner of Michigan and Meridian Sts. When bought by the county for the plaza It was part of the property of the heirs of John J. Holliday, who formerly lived next door.
