C. OF C. LEADER TO AID SCHWAB Reynolds Pledges Cooperation to Steel King. John E. Reynolds, Chamber of Commerce secretary, today pledged co-operation to Charles M. Schwab, steel magnate, and Stutz Motor Car Company director, who Monday announced he was considering location of one of his industries here. Schwab refused to divulge the nature of the industry. He said Indianapolis was Ideally located and had many industrial advantages. “Indianapolis certainly Is wideawake. I like the attitude here,” Schwab said. P. E. Moscovics, Stutz president, was commissioned to make a survey of the situation. “Mr. Schwab’s attitude toward Indianapolis is appreciated. Interest of triore men of his type would be a great benefit,” Reynolds said. Schwalr conferred with Reynolds and Frank S. Fishback, Chamber president. Schwab who was here to attend a Stutz dealers' convention left Monday night in his private car. HUMANE SOCIETY DIRECTORS Dr. C. F. Stout and Wayne Emmolman have been named directors of the Indianapolis Humane Society, it wa3 announced today. They will serve two unexpired terms. Monthly business meeting of the society was held Monday night at the Chamber of Commerce.

Charges of issuir.c a fraudulent check pending in court here against Thomas Allen of Sturgis, Mich., was dismissed. Devon Bussert, 25. of South Bend, confessed he wrote the check which led to Allen’s arrest. A suspended sentence of one to five years in the Indiana State Reformatory was imposed on Bussert.
