REAL SILK GETS QUARTER BLOCK Property Purchased as Protection, Says Official. Real Silk Hosiery Noble St., has acquired one-fourth block at the northwest corner of Walnut and Noble Sts. The property was purchased from six owners for a total consideration of about $50,000, it Is understood. Lazure L. -Goodman, Real Silk secretary, said the ground was bought as a protection and a building is not contemplated, to his knowledge. Fred Tucker and A. J. Huber, realtors, represented the parties in the deal BONDED DEBT REDUCED City Controller Says Administration Has Pared Off $2,197,141. Under the Shank administration the bonded indebtedness of Indianapolis has been reduced $2,197,141.57, Joseph L. Hogue, city controller, announced today. The sum of $371,•410.39 was paid off during 1925. However, the record year was in 1924, When $1,204,359.37 was saved.

A. president, to make the race for Seventh district representative against Ralph E. Updike. Ogden, one of Mayor Shank's chief counsellors, played a greater part in the Duvall election campaign than any other city hall leader agd the Insiders believe he will draw considerable Duvall faction support for that reason.
