FARM WEEK IS SET BY PURDUE State-Wide Conference to J3e Hold Jan. 11-15. Bu Special ' LAFAYETTE, Ind., Dec. 4.—Pur. due University has announced the annual agricultural conference for Jan. 11-15. Indiana farmers will reign supreme on the Purdue campus for the five days. Between 3,000 and 5,000 are expected to attend. More than 2,000 attended last year. An elaborate program has been arranged. Annual State potato and corn shows will be a feature. Special exhibits by boys’ club members and banking, sewing, canning and health exhibits by girls’ club members will be shown. Departments of soils and crops, livestock, poultry and home economics will have prominent places on the program. Farm associations which will take part include: Indiana Corn Growers, Indiana Home Economics, Indiana Vegetable Growers, Indiana Livestock Breeder, Indiana Draft Horse,

Hines of the Indiana State Normal School from Adam Leroy Jones, director at Columbia University, advising him that the State Normal has been placed upon the approved list by Columbia University. The letter says, in part: "While we request that complete records be supplied for each candidate for admission, the natural assumption Is that every such candidate will be able to complete the minimum residence requirements for a master’s degree In the normal period of one year, assuming that the work done by the student has been completed In the Institution whose degree the candidate holds.
