COUNCIL-DUVALL LINE-UP MATTER OF CONJECTURE Republican Officials - Elect Make Nominations at Caucus. # Whether Republican city councll-eien-elect have adjusted their dlft’erfnce with Mayor-elect John L. Duvall, after Duvall’s failure to recognize their patronage recommendations, was a subject of discussion among politicians today, following the caucus of councilmen Thursday. The presence of William ABoyce Jr., city clerk elect, who has declared warfare on Duvall, was considered as indicative that the breach has not been closed. Walter R. Dorsett today said he did not know why Boyce attended the meeting and would not state whether the new council had adjusted its affairs with Duvall. As has been expected, Boyton J. Moore, Sixth District, was selected as nominee for president at the caucus. Walter R. Dorsett was chosen president pro tern. Committee chairmen chosen were: Finance, O. Ray Albertson; public works, Dorsett; public safety, Claude E. Negley; public health and charities, Dr. Austin H. Todd; public parks, Otis E. Bartholomew; law and judiciary, Dr. Todd; elections, Negley; city welfare, Bartholomew, and athletic commission, Dorsett. GAMES AT FAIRGROUND Butler Signs Contract for Manufacturer’s Building. Justus Paul, graduate athletic manager of Butler College, signed a contract today with the State board of agriculture for use of the Manufacturers' building at the State fairground during the coming basketball season. All of / Butler’s intercollegiate basketball contests between Dec. 15 and March 6, are to be played there, with the exception of the time between Feb. 8 and 24, which has been leased for the automobile show. Negotiations are under way for staging some of the Indianapolis high school i basketball games in the buiilding. SCIENCE ACADEMY MEETS Amos VV.
