TIMES’ RADIO PROGRAM TO BE ‘AIL STAR’ Talent Recognized All Over Country Will Broadcast. ANNOUNCER MOVIE STAR Two Orchestras Scheduled to Play. An “all-star" radio program will bo put on the air Friday night by The Indianapolis Times over WSBM, Merchants Heat and Light Company, from the studio at the Severln. Talent recognized not only In Indianapolis but by the whole country will be on this great program starting at £► p. m. t The "all-star” radio cast will be as follows: Miss Frltzl Ridgeway, movie and vaudeville star. The Indianapolis Larks, a corking good orchestra, composed of George Jaeger, Harry Duncan, Charles Baug, Lawrence Koesters, Dallas Lunday and Paul Hackett. Albert J. Baskerville Is the soloist of this Indianapolis orchestra. Raymond Cork, p'anlst who made such a tremendous hit with radio fans on last Friday night Times’ program. George Shuman will be the soloist for a part of Cork’s program. Emil Seidel and his Apollo Theater Orchestra, In fifteen minutes of Irish musio, with Charles B. Lines as soloist. These artists will present the “best program” on the air next Friday night. The ability of each group Is well known. Seidel and his orchestra will rush to The Times studio from the Apollo to put on the air some Irish tunes. This is done as a compliment to Tom Melghan, movie star, whose

Fireman Will Be Radio Soloist

Albert J. Baskerville One of the soloists on The Times radio program Friday night will be Albert J. Baskerville, a city fireman. He is the regular soloist for the Indianapolis Larks, to be on the same program.

BUND ORGANIST TO BROADCAST Charles Hansen to Give Sunday Vesper Programs. Charles Hansen, blind organist of the Second Presbyterian Church, will broadcast a half-hour organ recital every Sunday evening from 5:45 to 6:15, starting Dec. 6. Radio Booms the Telegraph Bu NEA Service NEW YORK, Dec. 3.—Radio has failed to offer competition to telegraph service. On the contrary, radio has boomed the telegraphic Industry. Every radio broadcast program calls forth hundreds of telegrams complimenting the performers and requesting particular musical numbers.

Between 8 and 11 only one station is permitted to broadcast. This eliminates all congestion or Interference.
