STATE SEEKS BUGS TO AID BUG FIGHT Foreign Insects Advance Upon State, Says Entomologist —Parasites Combat Them.

Just now Prank Wallace, State entymologist, Is concerned about trying to find some bug allies to aid the fight against pyrausta nubllalis hubn and epllcachna currupta mulsant. In plain English, these are the European corn borer and the Mexican bean beetle. The corn borer is approaching Indiana from thd East, and is working havoc In cornfields of northern Ohio. It is only six townships away from the Indiana line now. The Mexican bean beetle came from the South, and is now as far north as Knightstown, Ind. It pldys havoc with beans. It is the black sheep of the otherwise decent lady buy family.
