DIRECTOR FOR CITYMANAGER Home Exhibit Head Boosts Businesslike Form. The city manager form of govern, ment received a boost Thursday night from J. Frank Cantwell, director of the 1926 Home Complete Exposition, at a meeting at the Indianapolis Athletic Club, where plans for the exhibit were announced, "The one weak spot of our city Is our government,’ said Cantwell. “Now Is the time for advocates of the city manager form to come to the front to carry out this businesslike plan of government, which has proven so successful In other cities.” Cantwell said there were not enough real leaders in Indianapolis. He said there were too many "near" leaders but not many with sufficient courage to blaze the path for the city manager government. PRATHER’S TRIAL IS SET 811 Times Special NOBLESVILLE, Ind., Nov. 20. Trial of Edward Prather, of Indianapolis, 16, charged with murder In the first degree, will start in Circuit Court here Nov. 30. The defendant is charge with killing Forest Delevan, a street car conductor, in attempted hold-up in Indianapolis last January. The case was venued here from Marion County and Prather has been in jail here since last May.
