SANITARY REPORT MADE Condemnation Notices Mailed to 319 Food Establishments. The chemical division of the laboratory of hygiene, State health department, during the fiscal year which ended Sept. 30, 1925, issued condemnations notices of 319 food establishments in various parts of the State because of either insanitary conditions, improper construction, or for noni>osses&ion of health certificates. t : Prosecutions were instituted against fifty concerns and individuals for insanitary conditions. r J’sn of these were in Indianapolis. FEED FEWER SHEEP Fewer lambs and sheep will be fed in the corn belt and western feeding areas this winter compared to last. Reports from Colorado indicate that the number to be fed in that State this winter will be at least 10 per cent smaller than last winter.

Hawkins said he can comfortably provide for 250 prisoners, since he recently put in 100 new beds, made and installed by the prisoners themselves. At the Indianapolis Bus Terminal station an elderly man was observed trying to wash his hands In the white enamel basin which catclies the overflow of drinking water from an ice water tank. Waiting passengers watched him with disapproval, but broke into smiles when he looked from side to side of the tank, then turned and disgustedly’ remarked, “No ’commodatlons round these places. Ought to have a towel hangln’ here,” and disconsolately dried- his hands on his bandanna handkerchief.
