ROUTES TO GAMES SATURDAY LISTED Hoosier Motor Club Advises Howto Reach Scene of Gridiron Clashes by Automobile.
Best routes to the football games Saturday, as given by the touring department of the Hoosier Motor Club, are: De Pauw vs. Hanover at Greencastle, Ind.—Leaving Indianapolis go west on Washington St. to the edge of the city. Here angle left and follow State Rd. 3 through Stllesvllle, to four miles west of Mt. Meridian. Here turn right on State Road 33 to Greencastle. Distance forty-four miles. The road is of pavement to the Intersection of 3 and 33 and graveled on to destination. = Earlham vs. Franklin at Richmond, Ind.—Leaving Indianapolis go east on Washington St. and follow State Rd. 3 through Greenfield, Knightstown, Cambridge City to Richmond, distance sixty-seven miles; paved execpeting a bridge run around at Pershing and another six miles W'est of Richmond. Indiana vs. Rose Poly, at Bloomington, Ind.—Leave Indianapolis via Kentucky Ave. and follow State Rd, 12 ■ through Mooresville, Paragon, Gosport to Spencer. Follow State Rd. 32 from Spencer to Bloomington. Distance seventy-four miles, practically ail gravel in good condition. Notre Dame vs. Camiege at South Bend. Ind. —Go north on Meridian St. tothe canal. Turn right and proceed alongside the canal to Broad Ripple. Tur“n left in Broad Ripple and follow State Rd. 1 through Westfield, Kokomo, Peru Rochester, Plymouth to South Bend. Road Is paved excepting forty-five miles of graveled surface between Peru and Plymouth, distance 139 miles. Purdue vs Northwestern at Lafayette, Ind.—Go north on Meridian St. to Thirtieth St. Turn left and proceed west through the park. Cross river bridge, continuing west up a hill to three-quarters of a mile beyond the park. Turn right on State Rd. 6 and follow same to Lebanon. From Lebanon continue over the Jackson Highway through Frankfort, Dayton and Mulberry to Lafayette. Distance sixty-nine miles; pavement the first twenty-six miles, balance gravel reported In good condition. Wabash vs. Illinois, at Urbana, 111. Go .north on Meridian St. to | Thirtieth St., turn left on Thirtieth St., and go west through the park, crossing river bridge, up a hill and on west three-quarters of a mile from the park. Turn right on State Rd. 1 and follow same to Lebanon. .From Lebanon go west on State Rd. 33, through Crawfordsviile to the Indiana-Illinois State line, contin-
