MONDAY BLUES BANISHED FOR WASH-WOMEN Laundry Institute Designed to Aid Housewives With Work. Bu Timet Special BOSTON, Nov. 13.—A college •course for washerwomen, designed to do away with all knuckle-scraping rubings over wash tubs, is being organized by the State University Extension 'Division. i The course is expected to chase the blues from wash day for housewives who want to learn the skilled and scientific methods of modern laundry technique. The "Laundry Institute” as it Is called, is being formed in response to the demand for instruction in scientific laundering, it was explained. It is organized not only fpr professional clothes washers, but for all women interested in making the family washing easy. Bu Timet Special WASHINGTON, Nov. 13.—Tho total number of Clasa B broadcasting stations reached a. new high water mark with the transfer of WAFD, at Port Huron, Mich., frojn Class Ato B. This brings the Class B total up to 114. During the past month 21 stations were licensed, while only nine were discontinued. This brings the grand total of stations up to 583, 466 of which are Class A.
