PAGEANT GIVEN AT MURAT ENDS ARMISTICE DAY ‘War and/ Peace’ Presented Under Auspices of Women’s Organizations. Eighty local persons took part in the opera-pageant ,r War and Peace," presented as a close for Armistice day at the Murat Theater, Wednesday evening under the auspices of the Local Council of Women and the Seventh District Federation of Women’s Clubs. Solo parts were taken by Mrs. Florence Kinnaird, as peace; Mary Traub Busch, as civilization; Mrs. Everett C. Johnson,, and Mrs. William Devin, litanists; Thomas Cornish, agriculture; James Hatton as commerce; Merle Krug as art; Thomas Broadstreet as industry, and Floyd Chafee as humanity. Special dances were given by pupils of Madam Leontine Gano and Mile. Theo Hewes. Mrs. Albion Fellows Bacon, Evansville, Ind., was introduced by Mrs. A. J. Clark, general chairman, pageant committee. The pageant, she said, was written, at the request of the American Legion and its purpose was to bring a message which would help outlaw war Mayofy Shank spoke few words of greeting. Mrs. W. O.
