MANY WENT HUNTING Total of 205,006 Licenses Issued In State During Year. Hunting licenses were sold to 205,006 persons in the State during the fiscal year which ended Sept. 30, 1923, George N. Mannfeld, superintendent of the fish and game division of the State department of conservation, announced today in his annual report. The division spent $248,693 and took in $203,715.65. A large part of the money was for the purchase of 5,23S acres of Brown (County land at $10.50 an acre for a. fish and game reservation. During the present year approximately 3,000 more acres are to be purchased.
