Bu United Press NEW YORK, Nov. 2.—Manufacturers of both passenger and commercial motor vehicles are reporting record breaking earnings for the first nine motnhs. With the recent prudent curtailment of production it seems assured that the last quarter will show an improvement over 1924, making the year the best on record says Motor in its weekly review of trade conditions. Heavy as has been the demand for passenger cars, both at home and abroad, the truck and bus business has been even better. The aggregate of 376,000 trucks and buses in the first nine months is less than 1,000 under the total for all of 1924 and only 16,000 less than the previous record total of 1923. It is now certain that the year’s figure will be at least 450,000, including exporth from the United States and Canada. While there has been an amazing development in the bus business in the past twelve months, trucks have not lagged behind. The farm market for the lighter types has been especially good.
