ENGLAND PLANS TO MAKE NEW TYPE AIRCRAFT r : r Two Dirigibles to Be Twice Size of 111-Fated Shenandoah. H { Bn I'nltrd Press •Sjj LONDON, Oct. 30. —Far from, beipg dismayed by the fate of the Shenadoah and the disasters which have fallen its own airships Great Britain is about to start the construction of two dirigibles each more than twice the size of the Shenandoah. “England has never lost faith in dirigibles,” declared a high official of the British Air Ministry in an exclusive interview with the United Press today. “To prove this statement I will say that designs have been completed and construction is about to be started on two dirigibles each of 5,000,000 cubic feet gas dhpacity. These are more than twice the size of any dirigible ever, heretofore, constructed.” R-100 and It 101 | fhese will be known, he said, as 3;>l "R-100” g.nd the “R-101.” The <i\ er-fi.ll length of the new machines Will be 750 feet and the diameter jfeO feet. Less thttn 100 feet longer thin, the Shenandoah or the R-33, Sfrhilcji has recently made test trips sver; London, the increased gas Capacity of the new air liners will be obtained by a marked increase in their diameter. ; "Yet despite the increase in the diameter of the.new dirigibles." continued the official “model tests in 'wind tunnels have shown that the neiv design actually presents less resistance to the air than the present dirigibles of half their carrying Capacity.

* Has Greater Strength “By keeping the length of the* machines approximately the same, as jn the largest of the present dirigibles sttad getting the increased capacity by increasing the diameter we are able to ■ construct a machine of much greater strength than has bebh possible in the past.” “ Neither the Shenandoah nor the R-33 —both of which were torn from fnooring , masts during storms the set year—had been designed with a view to use in connection with moormasts, he said. But in the new and R-101 the designers were {Wanning the mooring prows of the airships with special reference to til dr attachment to mooring masts. |'|The new dirigibles will have a sjpeed of about seventy miles an hour rftnd will be propelled by seven 600 horsepowts - engines of the dieseltype, using heavy fuel oil instead of 4hsoline. According to geologists the United States has nhpre than half of the World’s suppbV - of coal.

Tells Gris and Women to Avoid “Physics”

To Dr. W. B. Caldwell, of Montieello, 111., a practicing physician for 47 years, it seemed cruel that so many women had to be kept constantly “stirred up” and half sick by taking cathartic pills, tablets, salts, calomel and nasty dlls. While he knew that constipation was the cause of nearly all headaches, biliousness, sallow skin, indigestion and stomach misery, he did not believe that a sickening “purge” or “physic” every day or two was neeessary In Dr. Caldwell’s Syrup Pepsin ,he discovered a laxative which regulates the bowels. A single dose will establish paturnl, healthy bowel movement for weeks at a time, even for those chronically constipated. Dr.

“No girl or woman should ‘purge’ and ‘physic’ herself every few days. This is very injurious. Besides, it isn’t necessary.” —DR. CALDWELL

Caldwell’s Syrup Pepsin not only causes a gentle, easy bowel movement but, best of all. it is often months before another dose D necessary.
