ACTRESS LEAPS FROM EXPRESS English Woman Is Unhurt After Escapade. Hit Times Special PLYMOUTH. England, Oct. 30. Miss Mona Magnet, leading lady of a touring company playing at a local theater, always worried about being late for a performance, fearing that her understudy would not be able to draw the crowds as she did. One contingency she had overlooked—that she might take the wrong tram in changing towns. But when she did this en route to Plymouth she rose to the emergency and jumped off the Trure express while passing through Liskeard Station at forty miles an hour. Station employes, going out to pick up the pieces, found Miss Magnet dusting herself off. She persuaded them to flag the Plymouth express for her, and arrived at the theater in time to don her costume and get a dirty look from the understudy, who had to dress over again for her own minor part.
