FUNERAL FRIDAY FOR STUTZ MAN Factory Manager Will Be Buried at Muncie. Funeral services 1 will be held at Muncie at 2:30 p. m. Friday for Grover C. Davis, 41, factory manager of the Stutz Motor Car Company, who died Wednesday at the Methodist Hospital. The services will be at the home of his brother, Alfred N. Davis, Muncie, with burial in the Beech Grove cemetery there. Mr. Davis made his home at the Indianapolis Athletic Club and had been factory manager of the motor company since November, 1924. He served in the United States Marine Corps in the World War. In U'l9 he became associated with the Updike Motor Car Company and later with the Stutz Company. In addition to his brother he is survived by a nephew, Vernon Davis, also of Muncie. Malott, president Indianapolis Paint and Color Company, today announced the purchase of the A. Burdsal Company, paint manufacturers, by his firm. The Burdsal plant is to be operated independently of the other concern, Malott said. Combined annual business of the two companies will reach nearly $2,000,000, he said. Acquisition of the plan gives the company 1,000,000 gallons manufacturing capacity.
