ROBINSON MUM . ON NEW TERM Gives No Indication in Crawfordsville Talk. liii United Press CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind., Oct. 28. —Whether Arthur R. Robinson, recently appointed United States Senator, will be a candidate for the short terra nomination next spring' is still a mater of doubt today. The Senator Tuesday addressed two meetings at the Ninth District itepublcian rally here, but not one word did he say that would lead political observers to predict that he would make the race. Beyond renewing his pledge of support to President Coolldge and praising the administration of Governor Jackson, in Indiana, the Senator confined his remarks to praise of his colleague, James E. Watson, and of the Republican national administration. Senator Watson- also praised Senator Robinson and said he was “proud to be associated with him.” Governor Jackson in a short speech told of the reasons for the appointment of Senator Robinson and paid tribute to the late Senator Ralston.
