A Story of modern medicine " A gland secretion brings new help to millions Medical science has made a discovery which means very much to millions. It is a gland secretion derived from beef livers. It forms the only way known to stimulate the liver and increase the flow of bile. For generations we have thought that cathartics stirred the liver. But they do not. Countless clinical tests have proved that. They merely irritate the intestines. Now a way has been found, and physicians the world over prescribe it. A liver secretion does stimulate the liver—does multiply the supply of bile. One result is clear bowels, and that comes quickly. But bile is also a digestant. And this new supply corrects bowel indigestion. And bile is an antiseptic. It stops the poisons which, without it, are constantly fed to the blood. Now this liver secretion, prescribed by physicians everywhere, is embodied in tablets called Dioxol. Each tablet represents ten drops. It is bringing to millions of people remarkable help which no other method has brought. Not only as a laxative. The flood of bile which it creates keeps the bowels active. But bile is also a digestant. Bowel indigestion is corrected by it. Bile is also an antiseptic. It stops the flow of poisons which germs in the intestines constantly feed the blood. More than nine people in ten can gain new health and new vim by the use of Dioxol tablets. We want you to know that. Send the coupon for some tablets. Watch what they mean to you.

—Advertisement. How to stop There’s only one way to stop boils. Stop the cause of boils! That’s common sense—isn’t it? All right. Boils thrive because the blood gets so weak in healthy, red cells that it can’t throw off the impurities that get into the body. There’s not enough rich, red blood to purify the system. Now—S. S. S. builds back the blood to fighting strength. S. S. S. builds red-blood-cells —builds them by the millions! Boils dry up! S. S. S. is the thing. Impurities that cause boils and other skin eruptions can’t stand up against the rich, healthy, red blood that S. S. S. builds. That’s all there is to it. Stop boils with S. S. S. It’s the way. Get it at any druggist. The larger bottle is more economical. —Adver tlsc mcnt. WOMAN VERY NERVOUS

Attempts to conceal complexion blemishes usually fail, and only serve to draw attention to the defects. Underneath most unattractive skins is a clear, pleasing complexion—all that is needed is the proper treatment! It is surprising how often a brief usa of Resinol Ointment andßesinol Soap will clear away blotches, redness and roughness and give the skin its natural freshness and charm.
