Beginning in the first downtown garage in Indianapolis owned by Carl Fisher in 1903, he trained for six years to become an expert mechanician. From then on first as mechanician and later as winner of a number of races in various parts of the country he followed the lure of nice track until in 1913, when he went into business with the late Howdy Wilcox opening the Yellow Cab Company. With his expert knowiedge of automobiles and machinerj, however, and with the still unrealized dream of owning a cab company of his own with a distinctive type of service and personal interest to add to its attractiveness he established a business of his own at the present location, Maryland St. and Kentucky Ave. And now In addition to his complete service department and cab company he has the agency for one

ALLAYS DREAD AT LAST RITES Funeral Director’s Work Comforts Mourner. The great comfort of a well ordered funeral can be appreciated only by persons who have experienced the service and thoughtfulness of the attention given by the Walter T. Blasengym establishment. No occasion so entirely falls Into the hands of gracious and thoughtful persons. Without them no end of confusion would result at a time when members of the bereaved family are necessarily unable to render their customers usefulness. Such an establishment as that of Mr. Blasengym has made its greatest effort to relieve the members of the family from all responsibility, and in a quiet, efficient way conduct all matters relative to the care of friends and guests and the service itself. The great value of such service does much to do away with ancient dear to us have passed away. With dear to use have puast away. With ease and comforting graciousness Mr. Blasengym makes of the occasion a most natural and unostentatious one.
