James Coble and John Clark were next door neighbors, both in their twenties and married to charming girls from the same i graduating class in high school, But there the resemblance ended. James and Inez were very popular, socially, while John and his wife Flossie never seemed to go anywhere. “There go Jim and Inez again, John, and Inez has on another new dress,” called Flossie one evening after supper. John dropped his newspaper and moved over to the window to watch the well-dressed couple go down the street. “How do they dd it?” he asked. “Jim isn’t drawing any
more salary than I am and I am sure that a better little manager than you doesn't exist. Yet she seems to have ‘new clothes for every occasion and Tim, himself, is always dressed in the height of fashion!” ‘‘lt’s a mystery to me,” he continued as he picked up his paper again, r“but in any case, we won’t make '<ourselves miserable over it, will we, 'dear?” “No, John,” rerplied Flossie, “but some times it does ihurt! I have had to decline so many invitations because I felt that I did not have the proper clothes, while Inez
Stakes in everything. “That reminds me,” said *John, “the Eureka Club is having its annual Fall dance down at the Casino in a few weeks. Let’s go this time!” “I would surely love to go!” r exclaimed Flossie. But In the minds of each was the question *of where to get the money for the little dance frock for Flossie and the new suit for John. However, nothing further was said that night. But they went to bed with the one thought in their f minds. “How can we manage to “go to that dance?”

IF THEY- COULD STOP AND REST Do you know that your kidneys have worked without ceasing from the hour of your birth? They filter and remove from the blood stream waste matter which If permitted to remain and re-enter the system, may catise serious diseases. If overworked you can help them by taking FOLEY PILLS, a diuretic stimulant for the kidneys, which gently flush the kidneys and increase the elimination of waste matter from your system. The next day was Saturday, and coming home from work. John said, “Flossie, we just must go to that dance! Lets shop around for a dress and a suit! So after supper they took the bus downtown. Then began the long hunt from store to store to find a dress and a suit at a price they could afford to pay. All the lovely things they saw only made them more discouraged and disheartened, for they knew they could not pay the high prices asked for the garments which they wanted, and they would not be satisfied with cheap, shoddy clothes. Finally as they turned home, disappointed and disheartened, they saw their neighbors,
So arm in arm, they entered the store. It did not take them but a "few minutes to find just the dress that Flossie wanted and to select from the large stock anew suit for John. The friendly manager allowed John to pay down what he felt he could afford and arrange convenient weekly terms of payment. Needless to Bay, John and Flossie had a wonderful time at the dance. And no longer do they sit at home, watch Jim and Inez walk down the street wondering how they do it! They have solved the mystery !

The windows were filled with beautiful garments, • and down iu one corner of the window they saw a sign, “Open a Charge Account Your Credit Is Good.” John and Flossie looked at one another and John exclaimed. “So that’s how Jim does it!” But Flossie, more practical, answered, “ W h y don’t we do the same?”
