TWO BLAZES INVESTIGATED Fire Bug Thought to Have Been at Work. Fire department officials today investigated two fires which might have been of incendiary origion. A ‘‘fire bug” is believed to have set fire to a two-story frame dwelling owned by J. Evans, at 919 N. Senate Ave. Damage was $26. Three blocks away fire of unknown origion in a barn owned by Jennings Brothers, 237 W. Twelfth St., was believeS to be the work of the same person. Flames spread to the residence on front of the lot and to a frame house at 231 W. Twelfth St. .where William C. Brown lives. Total damage was S3OO. AUTO CRASH INJURES ONE I Man Suffers Broken Ankle — Other Collisions. Jasper Springer, 60, of 1238 S. Richland St., suffered a broken ankle when he was struck by an automobile driven by William Fleener, 1202 S. Harding Sunday. Fleener was arrested for assault and battery. A car owned by the Saunders System Company was demolished when it overturned after striking a team driven by Ernest Swift, R. R. P, Box 107, at Sherman Dr. and Prospect St. The car was driven by John Bilmer, who gave his address as Thirteenth and Illinois Sts. Autos driven by Ralph Brown, 324 S.
