WOMAN AT 111 IS POLITIC!!! Ascribes Longevity Partially to Cold Baths. Bu United Press KENOSHA, Wis., Oct. 2.—The oldest politician in the country is Mrs. Loufsa K. Thiers, \/ho observed her 111th birthday anniversary today. Mrs. Thiers was born in "Whiteboro, N. Y., in 1814. Until women wepe granted the franchise she cared not a whit for politics. But since, she has voted regularly and takes a keen interest in public affairs, she said. , . One of Mrs. Thiers’ aversion Is hot baths. She has never liked them since the first pne she took gave her a 'headache. “Until sho was 100 Mrs. Thiers took a cold bath every morning. She still takes cold baths, I ut less frequently. According to the Collegian, the school paper, the customary price for the green caps that first year men are required to wear had been set at $1 by the school authorities.
