HEART DISEASE n ON INCREASE; Death Rate in State Shows an Increase. F)l Tima WASHINGTON, Sort. 25.—Helm disease is on in the increase in ilndiana. The death rale jumped to Ml3 per 100,000 population during the past year, according to survey made by the United States Chamber of Commerce. The death r ;te in 1023 was only 183 per IOC.OoO. The survey shows that the general death rate for the State has lecreased from 1.280 in 1923 to 1,224 per 100,000 at the beginning of the j present year.
