MYSTERY GOES TO GRAND JURY Husband and Daughter of Slain Woman Held. Ttu United Press WAUKEGAN, 111., Sept. 25.—The Holt murder mystery, in which. Albert Holt, 40, and Clara Harcq, his pretty stepdaughter, are suspected of killing Mrs. Lillian Holt, their wife and mother, respectively, has gone to the Lake County grand jury. The coroner’s jury last night decided there Is sufficitent evidence against Holt and his stepdaughter to warrant a grand jury investigaifton. Both suspects, however, maintain Mrs. Holt shot herself following a family quarrel starting when Clara and Alberts who had beeen playing gdlf together all day Sunday, returned home late for dinner. Physicians who testified at the coroner’s inquest said it would have been possible for Mrs. Holt to shoot herself four times, but that it was highly improbable she actually did it. This formed the- basis Os the coroner’s verdict.
