SANITARY LEVY BOOSTED AGAIN Council Passes Increase Over Mayor’s Veto. In one of the most tranquL sessions of the year, city council Monday night by unanimous vote of the seven members present again set the board of sanitary commissioner’s levy at 6>/z cents over Mayor Shank's veto of its rise from 5% cents, effected at the previous council meeting. Sanitary board members, however, consider the victory only a temporary success, for their augmented levy must run the gantlet of ■/he State board of tax commissioners, where administration leaders are plotting its slaughter. Board members say they mb ht be compelled to halt operatic of the new 53,000,000 sewarge disposal plant, if the rate is allowed to stand at 5% cents.
