MUSIC WRITER TRIES PRODUCT ON HOME FOLK Russell Robinson Comes to Indianapolis With His Newest Song. By Walter I). Hickman N"" "I O sooner had Russell Robinson finished his new song “Toi__J morrow Mornin’ ” he thought of Indianapolis. So Russell left old Broadway flat and his office with Henry Waterson, Inc., and rushed home to try out his new one of his mother, father, •wife, neighbor and friends. Was called in to hear Robinson play and sing this new numbr before it comes out in sheet music form and before the records tell you all about it. To my way of thinking “Tomorrow Mornin' ” will be even a greater hit than his famous “Margie" and others that have made him famous and successful. “I felt.” Robinson told me “that I just had to come back home and try it out on the home folks. Everytime that I let Indianapolis hear a I tune first and the heme folks like it, well, it has always been a big hit.” .V New Idea Robinson has a “mammy” song in this one without the “mammy.” It breathes of Main St., and yet it has a dash of old Broadway in it. The tune is catchy and can be so played that at times it sounds a wee

for all of the home folks and as the records haven’t landed this one yet, I- am giving you the lyrics as written by Robinson. Here is the story that Robinson has • written for "Tomorrow' Mornin’ Speaking of superstitious matters. Number thirteen don't bother me. Black cats and walking under ladders Are just as lucky as can be, But I've got a suspicion That anew smoer-tition Has at last put the linx on me. CHORUS I got a warnin' this mornin': It said. "Tomorrow mornin You better wake up yawnin' where the roosters crow.’ Tomorrow mornin at dawnin'. I mean tomorrow mornin'. I'm gonna say good mornin' To the folks I know. I ll hear the hee haw of hee haw. Better known as Dobbin Maw maw and Paw Paw. Sobbin' with joy. I'm so delighted can't hide it. And so excited waitin' For tomorrow memo.'—oh boy I PATTER It was long past midnight. Light in the hall was buntin’ low, low, low. Wind outstrip was howlin'. Lawdy Lawd. how it did blow! I rot tin to close mv window. Something white flew cn my bed; It was thrown in by a Hindoo. For here's wliat I slowly read: "You bettrr go go go go where there's no snow. Don't mean no no no oh.” I know that this new Robinson : ,-ong is a warm number. It has | that glad-to-be goodness-home feeling about it. So before the records get it, he- | fore a copy rests on your piano and | before your radio catches it, I have ! told you all about Robinson rushing ! home so the home folks could hear his latest. TROOPS TO HUNT MASKED TERROR Unless 600 Police on Job Get Him Soon. fit) Time* Special NASHVILLE, Ten.. Sept. 9.—A black masked man in a jet black suit who, in a two-weeks' “reign of terror," has attacked almost a score of women, may be hunted by the National Guard if he continues to elude police. Already more than 600 patrolmen and detectives have been detailed to the case, and a 6 o'clock curfew law has been established. The latest attack occurred Monday night when Mrs. D. M. Turner, who had stepped out on the front porch for a moment, was seized from behind by the black clad figure and threatened withy death if c he screamed. Police came running.
