NEW CHURCH IS TO BE OPENED Dedicate Edifice Sunday at St. Paul. liu Times Special ST. PAUL, Ind., Sept. 4.—The Rev.C. W. Cauble of Indianapolis, State secretary of the Indiana Christian Missionary Society, will deliver the dedicatory address Sunday at the New Christian Church here. The congregation is planning to make it a great home-coming day. All day services wHI he held with a free dinner served at noon in the basement. The church was organized March 2, 1874, by Elder N. A. Walker, D. R. Vanbuskirk and L. A. Van Syce. It has grown from seventy members to its present roll of 240. In 1884 the congregation disbanded and reorganized in 1888 by Isaac Tomlinson. Os the charter members still living are Edgar and Annie Barnes of St. Paul and Morton Fishback of Goldsmith, Ind. The building includes a large educational plant in keeping with the modern tendency toward religious education. The Rev. Richard O. Lee is pastor, and Frank Hoff, Elmer Palmerton and Clyde R. Yater, members of the building committee. RARE CLUB PROGRAM Varied Talent to Entertain at Booster’s Lunch. . He works from 3 to 11 p. m. Women of the underworld seek to take residence in this section along with dope peddlers and others of the same character. Allen sees to it that they don’t park long on his district. Allen was appointed ;o the department May 26. 1924 and has served a commendable first year.

MORE BUILDINGS ARE GOING UP August Shows Increase of 79 Permits. Seventy-nine more buildings were authorized during August, 1925, than the same month last year, according to the monthly reporft of Francis F. Hamilton, building inspector. Permits this year totalled 1,629, while last year's figure was 1,550. However, issuance of permits for three large apartments and a business block increased the valuation to $3,218,000, while the valuation for August, 1925, was only $1,646,722. Attaches of the office said the boom in small houses continues. The Indian Refining Company today presented plans for construction of uM SII,OOO office building at 3516 11. New York St. JUDGING TEAMS TO VIE At Least Ten Counties Will Be at Dairy Exposition. At least ten Indiana counties will send farmers’ dairy cattle Judging teams to compete with other States and Canada to the National Dairy Exposition to be held here Oct. 10 to 17, according to E. A. Gannon, associate in dairy extension, Purdue University. The farmers' contest will be in charge of R. D. Canan of Purdue. Medals and diplomas will be awarded tQ the highest scoring individuals and teams for judging Ayrshire*, Brown Swiss, Guernseys. Holsteins and Jerseys. X-RAYS STOP COUGH BOSTON. —X-ray treatments reduced the severity of whooping cough, says Dr. Lawrence N. Boston, after using them in 750 cases.
