One of the '.argest contracts ever entered into by an Indiana advertiser has been obtained by The Millis advertising Company of Indianapolis, according to Fred I. Millis, president. Millie has signed a contract with the National Jewelers’ Publicity Association calling fcr the expenditure of $2,500,000 in advertising. The contract will necessitate establishment of an Eastern office by Millis.
Fowler and “Fifi” to Rest Bu X'nited Press CHICAGO, Aug. 20.—Fowler McCormick, 19, son of the International Harvester king is going to a Canadian lodge for a long vacation with his old friend Mrs. “Fifi” Stillman, after he has again accustomed himself to the ways of the rich. Fowler is back home after several weeks in Milwaukee, spent in getting up at 6 a. m. each day, and going to work in his father's factory without ’ any chauffeurs or butlers. Mrs. Stillman is the former wife of James Stillman, New York bank president, whose divorce proceedings involving a charge that an Indian guide •was the father of her youngest child was in the nation’s scandal glare several years ago.

COUNTY ROADS TOURED Commissioners’ Association Raps Highway Board. Bu United Press TERRE HAUTE, Ind„ Aug. 20. Delegates attending the convention of the Indiana County Commissioners’ Association today were taken for an inspection tour of Vigo County highways. The question of road building was one of the major problems before this year’s convention. Resolutions were adopted condemning the policy of the State highway commission in requiring county road specifications to comply with State specifications.
