r ?!, MONTH OF BRIDES, RECORD I FOR DIVORCES Statistics on Cases Handled in Superior Court Five Announced. Os the 1,048 cases of all kinds dispose of In Superior Court Five by Judge T. J. Moll between September ond June, a total of 135 divorce decree's have . been granted, twenty-eight decrees denied and three marriages annulled, according to ’ figures announced today by Charles R. Stuart, clerk. June was the biggest month, including number 01 divorces granted. These figures are only for cases bandied in Superior Court Five, Stuart explained. He said that, although he is not required to tabulate the cases, he believed in comparing each month’s work to see how full the court docket becomes. Clerks in the other four Superior Courts and Circuit Court are considering a similar record, Stuart Said. June Biggest Hiring June, 141 cases were dismissed, fifty of which were divorces. CVteit tried totaled 109 in which thirty-three divorces were granted Slid eleven denied. Nine cases, four Df which were divorces were granted change of venue of judge, and nine Chang-s of venue of county. Five pases were sent to Hendricks County, wo to Shelby, and one each to ohnson and Hamilton counties. (Total of 238 cases were disposed. Next laigest month was December, 1924, when 195 cases were disposed. During the annual call docket which was held th;s month, 147 cases were flismissed, fifty-one of which were divorces. Os the forty-four cases tried, four divorces were granted and one denied. Last Sep**-,j.nheir During September, 1924, when 146 Cases were disposed of, ninety-five cases were tried. Twenty-one divorce decrees were granted, and three denied. Figures for other months are: October, 5 £ cases disposed of, 31 cases divorces granted, 2 denied; November, 66 disposed of, 37 cases tried, 11 divorces granted; January, 64 cases disposed of, 42 tried. 11 divorces granted, 3 denied; February, 83 cases disposed of. 40 tried, 17 divorces granted, 4 denied; March, 67 cases disposed of, 31 tried, 8 divorces granted, 1 denied; April, 73 cases disposed of, 41 cases tried, 20 divorces 1 denied; May, 61 cases disposed of. 34 tried, 17 divorces granted, 2 denied.
