Bu United Press CHICAGO, July 24. —Grams had a strong undertone in trading on the Chicago Board of Trade today. Prices moved up to a higher close, although full gains were not maintained. Trading in wheat was characterized by large price swings. Prom a lower opening, caused by disappointing cables and rains in the spring belt, the market rallied quickly at midday on heavy buying by commission houses. Corn'closed strong, showing stubborn resistance to bear influences. Selling in September on increased receipts brought recessions from the high point in that delivery. Oats trade wes ve.-y small. A leading commission house supportel the market after a fractional advance. Pr6visions steadied late with grains. Chicago Grain Table —July 24 — WHfeAT— , T Prev. Onen Hkh. Low. Close, close.
