O’Neel y Tines Stall Correspondent CANNELTON, Ind., July 24.—Unlike the little hill town of Oriole, thirty miles away, there is no opposition to the theory of evolution here at the seat of Perry County. Residents who do not believe the teaching are more tolerant in their views than citizens of Oriole. Floyd H. Deen, former principal of the Oriole High School, was not permitted to teach in Oil Township by August V. Doogs, trustee, because Deen taught evolution from a State •adopted history text. .
