STATE HIGHWAY NEAR BEDFORD TO BECLOSED Bridge Approaches Will Be Blasted—-Detour Route Given. Because it is impossible to safeguard the public if traffic is permitted while workmen are blasting, the State highway commission will close a short portion of State Rd. 22, two miles south of Bedford for a few weeks. In the meantime a detour between Bedford and Mitchell over excellent macadam highway will be in force, John D. Williams, State road director, announced' in the department’s traffic bulletin today.
