‘LAKE COUNTY’ IS IDEAL SPOT FOR VACATION Fishing and Other Kinds of Recreation Can Be Enjoyed. “Come! play, swim, fish anil enjoy yourself in the 'County of Lakes’ ” is (he cry from each of the thirtyseven lakes within the' borders of Kosciusko County ii\ the north central port of Indiana. This recreational paradise with its sparkling waters draws more than 100,000persons every summer. Shopworn men amt women each year visit this center for relaxation. Included among the lakes are: Tippecanoe, thi'-cl largest lake in the State; Winona, Webster, Barbee, Big and Little Chapman's, Pappakeechie, Syracuse, Dewart, Dish, Plew, Hammond, Ridinger, Cnter, Pike, Carr, Muskelonge, Fish, Silver, Mammon. Higgins, I.o<>n, Yellow Creek, Mud, Caldwell, Hoffman's, Crystal, Willett, and others. All are well stocked with fish and offer delightful accommodation*) for summer campers. Fish Are Found Species of fish include bass, blue gills, perch and pickerel. The State fish ha*cheiry is at Lake Pappakeechie. In the fall months and during winter the lakes are covered with ducks, which may be shot in season. The country abounds with rabbits, squirrel and other small game. Recreation of all kinds is in evidence. There resorts for dancing, ride a surf board behind a speedy motorboat, play golf, croquet or tennis, enjoy trap shooting and take advantage of all the offerings of a modern club. Warsaw County Scat Kosciusko County is easy to reach. Warsaw, city of 6,000 population, is the county seat and located near the center of the lake region. Motorists will find marked roads leading to all of the prominent lake resorts. Warsaw is on the main line of the Pennsylvania Railroad, 109 miles east of Chicago and forty miles west of Ft.- Wayne. The county may easily be reached by following national highways. Yellowstone trail passes through from east to weet and the Dixie Highway from north to south, touching the Lincoln Highway at Goshen, twelve miles north of the county line. . ANGLERS FLOCK TO BASS LAKE Good Roads Lead to Northern Resort. Fish fans aro flocking to Bass Lake situated In Starke County in northern Indiana.
