THREE CHILDREN HURT BYAUTOS Police Slate Motorists After Accidents. Three children were Injured when struck by automobiles Wednesdfay night, according to reports received bv police today. Drivers were all slatud on charges of assault and battery. L'ttle Mary Cook, 2, was taken home, 1856 Keystone Ave., after being struck by an automobile driven by Paul Allen, 1010 Churchman Ave. She was cut about the face. Elizabeth Grant, 10, Southeastern and Keystone Aves., was struck by an automobile driven by Carl Peterson, 1915 Hoyt Ave., in the 1700 block on Southeastern Ave. She was cut and bruised about tte face and taken home. John Snape, 610 N. Colorado Ave., was driving an automobile that struck Betty Wysong, 602 N. Colorado Ave. She was taken to Methodist Hospital with a broken left leg. CURB SHIPPING BOARD? Coolidge Recommends Fleet Corporation Negotiate Sales. DRAFTSMEN DISMISSED City Engineer’s Department Curtailed by Lack of Funds. Reduction of the number of employes in the city engineer’s department, predicted by Frank C. Ltngenfelter, city engineer, because of lack of funds, was started Wednesday when the board of works dismissed three draftsmen. Those who lost their positions were V. B. Brown, E. T.
