Williams, director of the Sate highway coVnmission, in the weekly traffic bulletin issued today. The bulletin calls attention to the narrow county road in use past construction work on Rd. 39 near the Marlon count yline, directing traffic over a different route. Surface condition of roads entering Indianapolis are set forth in the bulletin as follows: No. 1 (New Albany, Indianapolis. South Bend, Mlohignn line)—Pavement from Franklin to Peru. Detour in city of Peru (during- t,he day only) while new pier Is helntr built under Kelly Avo. bridge over Wabash River. Note: This detour during day only will be in force but a day or so. Bridge will be open to traffic each night, and to one way traffic during day while most of work is under way. Run-around at unsafe bridge two and one-half miles itorth of Edinburg. Turn right at corner of Tipton and O’Brien Sts. in Seymour on marked detour via Chestnut Ridge, returning 'to No. 1 at seven miles north of Crothersville, Parts of this detour are rough No. 3 (Richmond, Indianapolis. Terre Haute)—Run-around at six miles west of Richmond account of bridge collapse. No. 0 (Madison. Greensburg Indianapolis Lafayette Oxford)—Pavement from Indianapolis to Shelbyville with seven-mile detour around two bridge projects. Detour at bridge construction one and onefourth miles northwest of Lebanon: detour west at six miles north of Lebanon via Thorntown. returning to pavement at four miles north of Thorntown.
