The frost and freeze destroyed much fruit prospects and most of the tender crops in gardens. The loss to fruit can not be repaired, hut the gardens can he replanted and full crops raised. Approval or rejection of petition of the Grain Marketing Company, a Chicago firm, to dispose of $1,000,000 preferred stock in Indiana lies within judgment of the State securities commission. Attorney General Arthur L. Gilliom indicated In an opinion submitted today to Frederick E. Schortemeier, secretary of State.
