EVANSVILLE MAN IS WANTED HERE Struck Woman, Police Charge—License Caught. Warrants were to be prepared today and sent to Evansville, Ind., asking the arrest there of an auto driver on a fugitive charge. He is wanted here, police say, for failure to stop after his auto is alleged to have struck Mrs. Anna France, colored, 117 Arch St., at 1011 N. Illinois St., Wednesday night.' Fred Olmstead, 710 W. Sheffield Ave., struck the car tracks under Improvement at Goodlet and Tenth St., and the Impact threw out Miss Catherine Slatzer, 228 N. liberty St., riding with Higgins. She was hurt about the head. She was taken to the city hospital. Higgins was slated. A Pettis dry goods truck driven by Virgil Rash, 816 Douglass St., and a taxi driven by Herbert Ross, 1226 N. State prison at Michigan City to start serving a sentence of two to twenty-one years for manslaughter. He was convicted of killing Harry Roberts, a Greenfield grocer, last Armistice day when the latter found Hilligoss with Mrs. Roberts in a car parked on a country road. Hilligoss pleaded self-defense.
