The Journal-Post exposed the alleged pardon scandal by trapping Russell Davis, the former Governor’s son. in a hotel room in Topeka, where it is alleged Davis accepted $1,250 from Fred Pollman to secure a final pardotj for Pollman, who was sent to prison for forgery.
