JAIL SENTENCES BEGUN Two Ixvse Appeals On “Tiger” Charges Before Judge Collins. Two men began jail sentences today following conviction before Criminal Judge James A. Collins on blind tiger charge appeals from city court. Carl Stumeoff, 358 N. Belmont Ave., received 120 days in jail, and fine of $l5O and costs. His sentence in city court had been ninety days on the Indiana State Farm and S3OO fine aand costs. Henry William*, colored, 2144 Northwestern Ave., was assessed thirty days in Jail and SIOO fine with costs. His portion in city court had been the same as Stumcoff's, ninety days on the Indiana State Farm and fine of S3OO and costs. Light Frost Reported Light frost, with no apparent damage, w r as reported Tuesday night in Indianapolis, Royal Center and Paoli, it was announced today by the United States weather bureau. Lowest temperature here was 52 degrees at 5:30 a. m. There is no indication of frost to tonight. Civil War Officer Dies Bu Times Special MADISON.
