VETERAM TEACHER DIES Miss Eliza G. Clark so Be Buried at Huntlngsburg. Devotion to the children she taught characterized life of Miss Eliza G. Clark, 52, for twenty-three years a teacher in Indianapolis public schools. Miss Clark died Saturday. Burial was at Huntingsburg, Ind., today, following funeral services at 9 a. m. at the residence, 1238 W. Thirty-First St. Miss Clark, who taught in School No. 44, primary department, retired in February. She was a member of Methodist Church, Y. W. C. A. and Nature Study Cl„ub. She whs a graduate of Indiana State Normal School. Miss Nellie S. Clark. Indianapolis, and Mrs. W. J. Howard, Dale, sisters, survive. The two churches that got tinder way with ground-Breaklng ceremonies were the new Irvington Methodist Episcopal Church in Irvington and the new North Methodist Episcopal Church, Meridian St. and Maple Road Blvd. The Catholic Church which was, dedicated was the new Holy Rosary Church, 510 Stevens St., of which the Rev. Marino Priori is pastor. The Rt. Rev. Joseph Chartrand. bishop of the diocese, officiated at the service of blessing the church. Bishop B. Irvington Church Sunday marked another day of progress in the history of Trvlngton when ground was broken for the Irvington M. E. Church on the grounds formerly occupied by the Thomas C. Howe property, 30 N. Audubon ltd. The residence will he used as a community house. The Rev. William H. Ewing, pastor, delivered a sermon on the subject, “Holy Ground.” Sunday night, the Rev. Ewing gave an illustrated lecture in the present church property. Slides were pshown giving in detail thd features -of-the new structure.
