It was charged that In May 9, 1924, the two defendants with John Parlza, Adam Lanabu, Christ George and Christ Celea withdrew $5,630.52, the society’s funds, from a local trust company. Parlza, George, and Ranabu returned $1,200, but the other two did not, according to the complaint. It alleged Christ obtained $415,52 and Celea $416. Suit further said Christ Celea had taken $3,500 and probably left the country for Greece.
