NEW STAMPS SELLING FAST Lexington-Concord Issue Is Received Here. Lexington-Concord commemorative stamps, in honor of “the shot heard 'round the world” at the opening of the Revolutionary War, 150 years ago, are rapidly selling out at the Indianapolis postofPce, according to Postmaster Robert H. Bryson. One-cent. 2-cent and 5-cent denominations were placed on sale Monday and the flve-cent issue, of which only 2,000 were received, are practically gone. Three hundred thousand 1-cent and 200,000 2-cent stamps of the commemorative issue were received, Bryson said. The 1-cent stamps, printed in green, are about the size of a special delivery stamp. The two-cent. stamp, printed in red, depicts a scene of the battle of and Concord. The fiveeeht stamp, in blue, bears a. picture of "The Minute Man” standing between two columns. Regular stamps are sold unless the buyer requests the commemorative edition. Stamp collectors are limited to a small number.

The Scouts also smashed seven copper stills, later selling the copper and empty bottles for their troop fund.
