made to school 34 at Wade and Boyd Sts. This school is in reality an eight-room building, but basement rooms, not intended for school purposes, are now in use. The addition of eight rooms will provide new and healthful class-rooms. The assembly room is to be arranged so the seats may be removed and the room used for physical training and basketball. Brick Construction The same type of assembly room will be installed in the new school 4j>, and in the new School 78. The buildings will be brick fire proof structures with modern lighting, heating and ventilating systems. While the two new buildings and the addition will by no means accommodate the number of grade school children improperly housed, it will relieve the over-Crowdlng. At the present rate of increase from year to year in the grade school population, the addition of thirtyt*vo class rooms, which are provided under present plans, will take care of the normal increase. NEW PARK IS PLANNED Indianapolis will have anew city park this summer, R. Walter Jarvis, superintendent of parks, said today. Plans are under way to develop ground between Thirtieth and Thir-ty-fourth Sts-, at Dearborn St. Appointment of custodian and installation of ben.-hea, tables and other equipment ate expected within the next few days, Jarvis said. Concessions requested by many persons will be considered at next meeting of the board of park commissioners.
