Any student of any Indianapolis high or preparatory school is eligible to enter. HE’LL GO TO THE FARM s Johnson Gets Sentence on Charge of • * Intoxicated Driving. Lester Johnson, the Palace, is a waiting a trip to the Indiana State farm today as result of receiving a thirty-day sentence and a fine of SIOO and costs in city court Friday when he was found guilty of driving an auto while intoxicated. Johnson was also fined $1 and costs for drunkenness and ch arge of failure to stop after an accident, was dismissed. According to police Johnson leaped from the auto he was driving and fled following a collision. LUTHERAN CONFERENCE Churches Will Send Delegate To Men’s Mission Meeting. Many congregations in Indianapolis district of the Lutheran church will send representatives to annual Men’s Missionary Conference, at Fremont, 0., April 14-15. Conference will take ‘up church affairs with emphasis on campaign to raise $500,000 endowment for Capitol University. Delegates from this district are: David Megenhardt, Oil City; Dennis Royer, Patrickskburg; Finley Prevo, Terre Haute and Walter J. Newkirk, Cortland. Robinson Joins Firm Fred B. Patrolman George B. Strieker

This is Pr-‘. rolman George B. Strieker's second term as a policeman since he resigned once and after being off the force for a while came back. As he stated: “The old job has its facinations.” He was made a patrolman Sept. 26, 1917, Strieker is one of the old time mounted men. In fact one of the first policemen to ride a horse. Now he is patroling district 37, from 7 p. m., until 3a. m. This district is bounded by St. Clair and York Sts., Alabama and Illinois Sts. This is the haven for floaters, and late-hour-keepers.
