jINDS WAY TO FIX PARENTAGE Finger Prints Reveal Heredi- .. tary Characteristics. Hu Times Special OSLO, Norway, April 10.—The paternity of children may be determined by ,the resemblance, of a child’s finger prints to those of its futher, according to Professor Christine Bonnevie, of Oslo University. Miss Bonnevie undertook the research which she believes has established her finger print theory in order to protect mothers all over the world. Solomon's dilemma when confronted with two claimants for one babe is the most famous instance Df Questioned parentage, but cases Involving the same principle occur ?very day in Europe and ttie United States. The Stillman case, which hinged on the Identity of the father Df baby Guy Stillman, who was said by James Stillman to be the son of an Indian guide, could have been adjusted quickly by Miss Bonnevle’s technique. The finger prints of young babies are so like those of their fathers that the resemblance cannot be ignored, according to Miss Bonnevie. i Had Right Idea England, April 10. conductor of a cross-word puzfzle contest here had the right IdeaTie gave the winner a day's vacation on full pay.
