WHY HUSBANDS LEAVE HOME IS TOLD BY JUDGE Says Wrong Conception of Marriage Causes Desertions. About the time the strains of the wedding march have been displaced by the strains of baby’s “music” at 2 a. m.—that is the time friend husband decided he cannot stand it any longer. So he walks out, leaving his wife to pay the bills as best she can. Why? “He married for happiness,” explained Judge Frank J. Lahr of Juvenile court. “Pie married without thinking of the time he would have to feed and clothe his family,” the Judge went on. “He did not prepare for marriage.” But He’ll Ketum But friend husband will come back, in all probability. The “homing” instinct is strong, according to Judge Lahr. And the chances are strong that his wife, bending under the heavy burden of caring for her family, will take him back—-unless she has divorced him. KEMAL BITTEN BY DOG Specialist Rushes to Treat Official for Painful Wound. Bu Times Svecial CONSTANTINOPLE, April 10.—A specialist in en route to Angora to treat President Mustapha Kemal for dog bite. There are no indications that Hemal's wound will prove troublesome, but all precautions will be taken as soon as the specialist arrives. The dog chewed Hemal's finger, injuring the member painfully. Only an animal could penetrate the ring of stalwart guards with which Kemal always is surrounded. more. Then he probably will pack up again,, to escape the load which his training did, not teach him how to bear. So it goes on, in an unending circle. “Young people, riding around in their cars, think of marriage as all romance,” Judge Lahr said. "Novels, moving pictures, are full of romance. So these boys and girls have romantic ideas. “After marriage, they find life is not romance. They did not expect trouble, so they are not prepared to meet it. “They do not think, either, of the family, the institution for the upbuilding of which civilization established merriage.
