SXULLSFOUND IN YARD BESIDE DEATH COTTAGE Gotland Yard Delving Into Mystery Around Apparent Murder. liu United PrcKn LONDON, April 3—The story of a Regenerate mad man Is being pieced together by Scotland Yard as detectives attempt to solve the mystery of “poison cottage’’ whore Granville Cooke and Selwyn Foster met death. Unremitting search through the dilapidated shack set behind a huge, disused house in a half acre enclosure in King's Cross, has revealed a pile of skulls, a complete skeleton in a pot full of quick lime and indiscriminately scattered heaps of bones. In the weed-ridden garden were found bodies beneath awry gravestones. In a large house which twenty-five years ago was operated by Cooke’s father as an anatomical school, police cayie upon shelf after shelf of poison phials. Whether the bones found in such grewsoipe numbers represent relics of the old school on victims of demonical orgies alleged to have taken place in the alleyway cottage is not yet known. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Ida Zwick, 57, wife of Henry Zwick, retired hat dealer, who took her life Thursday night, at home, 2953 N. New Jersey St„ were held up today pending arrival of the only daughter Mrs, Ethel Luckey, of New York City. Mrs. Zwick died a short time after she fired a bullet from a 32 calibre, revolver, into her right temple. Thursday night. She died In the admitting room of the Methodist Hospital. Police and the city ambulance called, were delayed when they rushed to 1953 N. Illinois St. by mistake. ■ Dr. Charles O. Sowders, told Deputy Coroner William A. Doeppers, that he had been treating Mrs. Zwick for eight years and she was despondent a mental illness. Mrs. Zwick was born here, lived here most of her life and was a member of the Englewood Christian Church. Besides her husband and daughter she is survived by a brother and two sisters. STREET TO BE^VIEWED Inspection of Proposed Extension Will Be Saturday. Park commissioners will Inspect the proposed Pleasant Run Blvd. extension from Prospect St. to Wash Ington St. Saturday. A large dele gation of southeastern section residents attended the board meeting Thursday in expectation of action on the measure. Plans for widening and paving Meridian St. from Fall Creek to ThirtyEighth St. were ordered prepared. Mayor Shank urged the action as part of his program for widening the street from St. Clair north.
