June seniors have been busy with clasg play and Ivy day activities and two senior meetings this week. The ■kttioiial Studio was chosen as the flaas photographer. Most of the Rnlors will be photographed during the spring vacation. Several members of the class will compete in designing the cover for class play programs. Miss Estell Izor, art department head, will assist. Miss Arda Knox, manager of the class play ticket sale, announced that one matinee ticket vrtll be given each person selling ten matinee tickets for Thursday, April 17. and one night ticket will be given for five sold for Friday night, April 18. Altogether, the three Indianapolis high schools have twenty-two delegates in the junior body, Tech having ten representatives and Shortridge one. Manual representatives are Edith Brown, Don Menke, Florence Huebner, Fern Lyster, Andrew Ramsey, Harry Brooks, Harry Miller, Myrtle Grunnell, Frank Ballman, Lillian Fagin and Eugene Ritter. Don Menke is majority floor leader and Eugene Ritter was a candidate for speaker. Clarence Bluemel won first place in the school oratorical contest; Anna Doherty was second; Sam Kaurman, third; Marguerite Young, and Smiley Young tied for fourth; John Herrmann, fifth: Edwin Ryan, sixth; Ruth Feetman, seventh, and Lee Wells, eight. Judges were C. B. Coleman, Secretary' of State Historical Commission, Rev. E. H. Kistler, and C. H. Monetf, of the faculty. / Misses Holden and Baldwin are property managers for the class play.
