MELLON 10 DRAW UP NO MORE BILLS ) Secretary of Treasury to Leave It All to Solons, Bu Timet Special WASHINGTON, March 24.—The Administration has decided to take the Mellon label off of its new tax reduction proposals in the hope of obtaining: more hearty cooperation from Congress. Secretary of the Treasury Mellon will send members of the House and Senate committees his “suggestions” for a tax measure, but they will be allowed to work out their own bills and assurwe full responsibility for them. This change of strategy, made known at the Treasury Department, is the result of Mellon s lesson in politics a year ago when liis bill was tossed aside for one that originated in Congress. Tax returns of March 15 have come up to expectations. Thus making further tax reductions feasible. This means that the plans for further tax cuts can go forward. THREE ARE MISSING! Boy, Girl and Man Reported to Police A boy a girl and a man are reported to police as missing from their homes. k Harry Craty, 14, of 536 Chase St., is missing, according to his father. The boy has brown oye.s and hair, a fair complexion, and was wearing a light suit, cap and' lAack shoes. Lena Laetsky, 13, of 1352 S. Meridian St., is missing, her'sistar, Reva Ijaetsky, stated. She has brown yes and hair, and was wearing a dark satin dress, checkered coat, with brown collar. Louis Beyer, 262 E. Raymond St., age 49 is missing according to Oscar Klrst, same address. Boys’ Club til Build A site in “Irish Hill.” south of the Pennsylvania Railroad and near Spann Ave. and Shelby St. was being considered today for anew building for the Boys’ Club. The Indianapolis Council of Social Agencies Monday approved a report of Will Wertz, superintendent of the Club, which outlined future development.

PROFESSOR A SUICIDE Famous Student of Philosophy Takes Own life Bu Timet Special POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y., March 24.—The gradual decay of one of the most brilliant minds among easetrn college faculties was halted Monday when Prof. George Stuart Fullerton committed suicide here at his home. Fullerton was an internationally known student of philosophy. He had written learned books on the subject and had been head of the philosophy department at Columbus University. Recently he had been a lecturer at Vassar. His self-inflicted death was traced to the fact that he could not control his own fine mind sufficiently to shake off a despondency which had fallen heavy upon him since he suffered severe prlvatjons in a German interment camp during the war. COULDN’T GET TRAIN Lessee of "Trackless Locomotive” Files Damage Suit. A 115,000 damage suit was filed in Circuit Court today by George R. Jerinain against Harry O. McGee and the Lykglas Company, Incorporated, for alleged fraud in leasing “America's First Trackless Locomotive, The Highway Limited” which the defendant company owns. The plaintiff charged he had agreed with the company to purchase the trackless train for SIO,OOO. It was agreed that Jerm&in could resell or iease the train. Jerm&ln said he arranged to lease the train to Warner Brothers, motion picture distributors, for thirty ! weeks at $1,600 a week, but claims that the defendant failed to see him until his option had expired. Mary Lee, 18, Sunday school teacher and foreign missionary, and Ralph Kent, 30, were today facing charges of passing worthless checks in five cities. She met Kent following completion of a course in missionary work. Following a brief courtship, she said, Kent proposed marriage.
